Is there an exam at the end of the course?
No written exam is conducted at the end of the course. Your online tutor will assess your assignments during the course. -
Who teaches the online TEFL courses at TEFL Academy?
The online tutors have over five years of normal teaching experience and three years of EFL teacher training experience. This experience makes them aware of the situation in the classroom, which helps them become good trainers. -
How much time will I have to devote to the online TEFL course each day?
It is better to invest from two to four hours each day for this course. Your progress will be assessed by your tutor and advice will be given to you depending on it. -
Will I be a competent teacher by the end of the online TEFL course?
The perfect content of the TEFL course helps in the growth of necessary skills required for evolvement as a teacher. The teachers are perfectly groomed to teach in a professional environment all around the globe. -
Do I need teaching experience?
No prior teaching experience is required for this course. The course has all materials necessary to make you an excellent teacher. -

What if i am unable to complete the Online program in time specified to me by the Online tutor?
The course fee is based on your satisfactory completing all the course assessments, within the time specified by the online tutor. If for any reason you do not complete these satisfactorily within the period and it is agreed that an extension of time is possible later, you will be liable to additional charges to cover additional staff time. These are USD$35 for each assignment and USD$20 for each month of delay from the schedule time. If you withdraw from the moderation of your current course and wish to enter moderation on a later course, an additional moderation fee must be paid. -
How do i get my certificate? What are the grades?
Certificates are issued after successful completion of the course and finishing all assignments. Normally Certificates are send by Speed Post from our Asia HQ in Bangkok. However we can also scan and send your certificate if you need that early! We also send Tutors recommendation letter and reference letters when asked for. Our Certificates are not Graded.
